Harvard-credentialed advising with particular depth in homeschooled, nontraditional, and international applicants.
Our lead admissions advisor graduated from Harvard and has worked with applicants to the most selective universities in the US and UK. We specialize in what most admissions consultants don't know well: homeschooled students, gap-year applicants, students with nonlinear academic histories, and internationally educated students applying to American universities.
Most admissions consultants have never applied to college as a homeschooler and don't know the specific challenges: building a transcript, sourcing recommendation letters, explaining ungraded or project-based work, or navigating GED vs. diploma questions. We do. This is the majority of our client base.
Our lead advisor went to Harvard. That perspective informs our work — including the honest truth that Harvard is not the right goal for every student, and that selective admissions strategy should be tailored to the individual child's life, not to a ranking list. We help families think clearly about fit, not just prestige.
The Common App is one document. The application is everything else: the narrative, the activities list, the recommendations, the essay, the demonstrated interest, the school list itself. We work on all of it. The essay is important; the strategy behind the essay is what most consultants miss.
We offer a range of services from single sessions to full-cycle support. Most families start with a strategy session before committing to a package.
A candid conversation about your student's profile, goals, and timeline. We give you an honest read on selectivity, what's working, what needs attention, and what kind of support — if any — would be most valuable. Many families find this session alone worth the cost. No hard sell at the end.
Book sessionFocused support on the written components of the application. Includes a 60-minute brainstorming session, written feedback on drafts (up to three rounds per essay), and a final review. Does not include school list strategy or recommendation management. Homeschool narrative and transcript explanation available as add-ons.
Get startedComprehensive support from junior year through final decisions. Includes: school list development, testing strategy, activities list review, homeschool transcript and documentation guidance, full essay support (personal statement + all supplements), recommendation coaching, interview prep, and decision-day support. Available to a limited number of families per year.
Apply for a spotThe same comprehensive support as the Junior Start package, beginning in the fall of senior year. Slightly compressed timeline — best for students who have a clear sense of their school list and testing situation, and primarily need application, essay, and documentation support. Includes the same essay, interview, and recommendation components.
Apply for a spotFor families who want targeted help without a full package. Useful for reviewing a school list, working through a specific essay, thinking through a gap year plan, or getting a second opinion on an application strategy. Billed in one-hour increments. No minimum commitment.
Book hoursCollege admissions consulting itself is not typically reimbursable under K–12 ESA programs. Florida's PEP and FES-UA programs are designed for educational expenses during the K–12 years, and admissions strategy falls outside that scope.
However, some services that overlap with college prep may qualify. SAT and ACT tutoring is generally ESA-eligible as academic instruction. Writing instruction — separate from admissions coaching — may qualify under some programs. We will clearly flag which portions of any engagement are structured as ESA-qualifying academic services versus admissions consulting.
If you have specific questions about your state's program, we recommend contacting your scholarship funding organization directly. We're happy to help you structure our services in a way that maximizes what is legitimately reimbursable. Reach out to discuss.
